To help agents verify that a promotion or bonus was correctly applied to a customer account.
Steps to Verify:
🔑 Open Customer Account
Go to the customer record in CRM.
Navigate to the Transactions or Orders tab.
🎟️ Check Promotion/Bonus Field
Verify that the Promotion Code or Bonus ID is listed.
Ensure the promotion status shows Applied or Active.
💰 Validate Amount or Balance
Compare the original price or points balance with the updated value.
Confirm that the discount percentage or bonus points are reflected correctly
📑 Review System Logs
Check the Audit History or Promotion Logs for confirmation that the bonus triggered.
🎯 Cross-check Entitlements
Navigate to the Entitlements/Benefits section.
Confirm the new bonus or benefit is displayed.
✅ Customer Confirmation
If needed, ask the customer to confirm in their portal/account or by checking their balance/notification email.
Additional Notes:
⚠️ If the promotion/bonus is missing, verify that the promotion is published, valid, and not expired.
📩 In case of issues, escalate the case to the Support Team for further investigation.
